SGMagazine Relaunch Party at Herbert Hoover Boys & Girls Club
SGMagazine hosted its official relaunch party for the teens at Herbert Hoover Boys & Girls Club! Teens were each gifted with a copy of the March/April 2016 issue of SGMagazine and were given the opportunity to participate in a spray painting art project with St. Louis artist Brando Buxx. Continuing our year-long anti-bullying campaign, everyone was also given anti-bullying pins from the Missouri National Education Association and engaged with a special talk by activist and motivational speaker Shante Duncan on the power of positive self-affirmations.

*In January 2016 after a year hiatus, SGMagazine relaunched its publication with its new art's focused initiative. Moving forward, SGMagazine places even more of an emphasis on the use of artistic expression and the creative spirit as a valuable tool for combating various youth related struggles and crisis as well as well as for pursuing multiple streams of entrepreneurship. In addition, our new focus will incorporate artists of the African Diaspora in our attempt to display the global black experience.
